FALDAS DE LA ALCAZABA HOTEL

Located at the southernmost tip of South Baja California Peninsula, in San Jose del Cabo, makes up the tourist corridor between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas and it is located in the skirts of “Cerro del Vigía”,privileged place as much by its elevation, as by the panoramic vista of the surroundings.

It was proposed like Master Plan of Image to be adopted as norm and design criteria for future projects, to consolidate a distinctiveimage of San José del Cabo in the urban and architectural style.

Within the Master Plan as a global concept two particular projects were developed, first the Golf Club House and the second identified as “Caserío Faldas de la Alcazaba ".

One of the element basic of the project is the arc, which appears with variants like the one of average point and the three point’s arc (escarzano).  It predominate the bulk on the bay, the inclined covers, widened in accesses and the windows, the spills in brackets, the niches, the lattice windows, columns, capitals, flying buttresses and a splendid design of pavements and floors, inner as much outer.

The additional resources that are integrated to the set are the pergolas, the blacksmith shop, the stone benches and light walls. Basic the material finished ones and are flattened rustic in exteriors, semi peasants in interiors, with bolides edges and painted everything in a unique colour, like subject of the project. In the exteriors, the floors present/display geometric designs, using the stone ball, chips of stone and the golden stone of the region. With concrete washings and drawings and stems are formed that aesthetically rebound waters of the pavements.
